Just like the last year, 2017 will see a host of new sales and research records being created and a few being broken. While the manufacturers are not ready to share their model-wise sales data, we do have the capability to bring you the research trends on BikeWale. One of the interesting changes last month was, Hyderabad has taken Pune’s spot in the top five metro cities.
Rank 3: Bajaj Pulsar 150
The Pulsar 150 got some cosmetic changes and a lot of digital push from Bajaj. This has helped the Pulsar 150 become the third most-researched bike on BikeWale. The research on this Bajaj grew by 13 per cent from December 2016 and close to 40 per cent of these researchers said they plan to buy this motorcycles in the next couple of weeks. Majority of these buyers were from Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The two major cities, Mumbai and Delhi, came fourth and fifth respectively.
Rank 2: Royal Enfield Classic 350
Royal Enfield doesn’t spend a lot of money marketing the Classic 350. Its brand value and looks do it for the company. This motorcycle used to rank first in these stories, but has slipped to second place. The Classic 350 saw a nearly seven percent increase in traffic from December but a whopping 62 per cent of these showed interest in getting the Classic 350 home.
Rank 1: Bajaj Dominar 400
The new bike on the block has been impressing everyone with its looks, pricing and features. Buyers from Bengaluru have showed the maximum interest on this motorcycle, followed by Mumbai and Delhi. With close to 50 per cent of these buyers showing interest in buying the bike, the Dominar will surely hold this rank for the next few months.
