July has been a slow month when it comes to online researching for motorcycles in India. Unlike the last couple of months, where some bikes saw a very good increase in visits, July saw a big drop in visits. In fact, this was seen on the most popular motorcycles as well. We list down the data for you below.
Rank 3: Bajaj Avenger 150
The Avenger 150 from Bajaj has been holding this spot since the launch. However, for the first time, the affordable cruiser saw close to a 30 per cent drop in overall visits. Around 1.14 lakh visitors researched this bike in July, but close to 42 per cent of them showed interest in buying this bike.
Rank 2: Honda CB Hornet 160R
The Hornet 160R was the most researched bike in June. However, for July, it slipped to rank 2 because its overall visits dropped by 24 per cent and that’s a huge number. This is possible because a lot of customers wait for the monsoon to finish and the buying season begins from September, thanks to the festive mood.
Rank 1: Royal Enfield Classic 350
The Classic 350 is back to rank 1 as the most researched bike on BikeWale in July. With close two lakh visits, it saw a marginal 1.2 per cent growth in overall visits. Buyers from Delhi lead the way, followed by Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai.
