It’s no surprise to see a new scooter adding up in your building's garage every week. Scooters in India aren’t a luxury anymore but more of a necessity. They are comfortable, can be utilised for household work and are quite affordable too. So it’s obvious with these requirements in mind, the Indian consumers are bound to start their research about their new purchase. So we give you a list of top three scooters that were researched on BikeWale in July.
Rank 3: TVS Jupiter
The TVS Jupiter has continued to stay in the third spot since the last couple of months. It registered a marginal increase of 1.69 per cent in its overall visits in July. But the interesting bit here is that Mumbai is slowly losing interest in this scooter as it took the fourth spot. Visitors from Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru are showing a lot of interest in this scooter.
Rank 2: Honda Activa 125
The Activa 125 showed a decrease in visitors in July. However, it still manages to be one of highest selling 125cc scooters in India. The styling and the brand value has helped the Activa 125 stay in the second spot. Visitors from Delhi and Bengaluru showed the maximum number of buying interests, followed by Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
Rank 1: Honda Activa 3G
It’s very difficult for any scooters to take Honda Activa 3G's position in the list. Since the time, we’ve started this story series, the Activa 3G continues to be in the numero uno position and the plot continues in July. With close to 1.4 lakh visitors, the Honda Activa 3G is the most researched and popular scooter on BikeWale. Visitors from Mumbai and Bengaluru continue to research the most for this scooter, followed by Delhi and Pune. The fifth spot is taken by the Chennai visitors. In terms of overall visits, the Activa 3G saw an increase of marginal 1.53 per cent.
