The Yezdi brand was recently launched in India with three motorcycles on offer. One of which is the Roadster.
The motorcycle is being offered in a choice of five colour options, the most affordable of which is the Smoke Grey paint scheme that costs Rs 1.98 lakh, ex-showroom. Then there is the Steel Blue, Hunter Green, Gallant Grey and Sin Silver colour options that have been priced at Rs 2.06 lakh, ex-showroom. Positioned as a city cruiser, the Yezdi Roadster comes with minimal bodywork.
Powering the Roadster is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that has been derived from the Jawa Perak although with a different state of tune. It churns out 29.7bhp and 29Nm and comes with a six-speed gearbox.
As for features, the Yezdi Roadster is equipped with a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp. It also gets a circular LCD instrument cluster as well as dual-channel ABS as standard. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda CB350 and the Jawa 42.
