Last week, Moto Guzzi unveiled the V7 Stone ABS at the India Bike Week 2015 in Vagator, Goa, hinting at the bike’s possible launch in the Indian market.
The V7 Stone is an old-school motorcycle which gets several retro touches to reinforce its modern yet 1970s vintage appeal. It is powered by a 744cc, 90 degree V-twin engine which pumps out 49bhp and 58Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox.
With a line-up of just four models, Moto Guzzi has a very small presence in the Indian market. While Moto Guzzi has so far refused to confirm this, reports suggest that the Italian manufacturer is planning to strengthen its line-up by launching the V7 Stone. The V7 Stone will be the most affordable motorcycle in the company’s line-up, and will rival the likes of the Triumph Bonneville and the Harley-Davidson SuperLow.
