Moto Guzzi has unveiled the V7 III Anniversario special edition in Chicago. Produced in a limited run of just 750 units, the V7 III Anniversario celebrates the 50th anniversary of the ‘V7’ brand.
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario replicates the charm and character of the 1967 Moto Guzzi V7, which was a 700cc street bike with a transverse-mounted engine. The chrome finish on the tank, fenders and the exhaust and the brown leather seat set it apart from the standard V7 III. The V7 III Anniversario also gets a plaque denoting the bike’s serial number on the handlebar base and a ‘50’ badge on the side panel. Under the skin is the same 744cc V-twin engine which delivers 50bhp and 60Nm of torque through a six-speed gearbox.
However, the exclusivity does come at a price. The V7 III Anniiversario will retail at USD 9,990 (Rs 6.68 lakh) in the US, which makes it USD 2,000 (Rs 1.33 lakh) pricier that the standard bike. While you cannot buy the V7 III Anniversario or the standard V7 III in India, you can opt for the more powerful V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber, which retail at Rs 13.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
