- X-Cape 650 priced at Rs 5.99 lakh
- X-Cape 650X priced at Rs 6.49 lakh
The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and X-Cape 650X have received a massive price cut as part of the festive season offers. Both motorcycles have received a discount of over Rs 1 lakh. Following the price cut, the X-Cape 650 is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh while the X-Cape 650X will set you back by Rs 6.49 lakh.
The new prices are effective immediately and should make these ADVs more accessible to a wider audience. While the prices have fallen, there are no visual or mechanical changes to the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and X-Cape 650X.
Both motorcycles are powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 59.17bhp at 8,250rpm and 54Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
They feature the same design and it is unique in the ADV segment. There are largely flat surfaces all around but there’s no denying that the big fairing and windscreen give the bike an imposing stance.
The frame of the bike is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. The X-Cape 650 rides on alloy wheels while the X-Cape 650X rides on wire-spoke rims. Braking duties, meanwhile, are taken care of by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
In terms of competition, the bikes go up against the Kawasaki Versys 650 which is priced at Rs 7.77 lakh, ex-showroom.
