- X-Cape 650 range gets Rs 1.3 lakh price reduction
- Most affordable 650cc adventure bike in India
- Bookings have commenced
Adishwar Auto Ride India – the company that sells the Moto Morini range of bikes has announced a massive price cut on the X-Cape 650 range.
The X-Cape 650 is now priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is almost Rs 1.3 lakh cheaper than the 2023 models. The off-road variant – the X-Cape 650X is now priced at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) –over a lakh cheaper. These prices are effective from today and are being offered in all paint schemes.
The company claims that these price cuts are a result of a new production strategy for 2024. However, the company wants to attract more adventure motorcycle lovers to the brand. Currently, this segment is dominated by Kawasaki's range of motorcycles, but there’s a space for brands like the X-Cape 650X.
The X-Cape 650X is a motorcycle that was thoroughly enjoyed by the BikeWale team. The bike was good on the highway and performed much better off-road. It gets its power from a 649cc liquid-cooled inline twin engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This engine makes 60bhp and 54Nm of maximum torque. Interestingly, this bike comes with the most features in the segment. It is equipped with LED lights, a seven-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, riding modes, a USB charging port and ABS. Plus, it also comes with tubeless spoke wheels - something even the bikes like the Honda XL750 Transalp and Suzuki V-Strom 800DE don’t get and these bikes cost almost double of the X-Cape 650.
With these revised prices, the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 range offers a lot of value for the money. However, the after-sales support is limited and the brand value is also quite poor.
