Dorna, the organisers, had announced a provisional calendar for the 2017 season of MotoGP, but only now has the calendar become official. There were two circuits who hadn't renewed their contract with the MotoGP officials - one of which we'd reported about just yesterday - and the other is Sepang in Malaysia, whose contract was up for renewal. Interestingly, the Malay public attends the MotoGP race in force, while interest in Formula 1 has dwindled so much, the circuit management is trying to drop it altogether. Now that those two circuits are a wrap, here is the final calendar for the 2017 season of MotoGP. There are three sets of back-to-back races, and the one three-races-in-three-weekends stretch, which is the 'flyaway' set of races in Japan, Malaysia and Australia.
