MotoGP: KTM confirms rider lineup for 2018

KTM is nearing its first full year in MotoGP, and it has confirmed its rider lineup will remain the same for the 2018 season. 

The race riders will remain Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith, and the test rider will remain Mika Kallio. There were rumours at some point during the season when it looked like the factory was unhappy with Bradley Smith, whose results have not been as good as Espargaro’s. Kallio had also expressed interest in moving from a test rider’s role to full-time racing again, but all seems well for the moment. With KTM riders finishing in the top ten on more than one occasion this season, the squad seems on track to be a real contender soon.
