The Dutch TT is going to be underway in a few hours, but before it does, let's have a look at the riders' championship.
Maverick Vinales still holds on first position with 111 points, but his lead has been whittled down to just seven points by the twin wins of Dovizioso. Behind surprise second place is Marc Marquez with 88 points, and his teammate Pedrosa with 84. Valentino Rossi is one point behind Dani, and Zarco is in sixth with 75 points. Lorenzo's resurgence has seen him climb to seventh with 59 points, and the other Tech 3 rookie, Folger, is in eighth, 8 points behind. Crutchlow and Petrucci round off the top ten with 45 and 42 points each.
This order is sure to get shaken up, judging by the qualifying results of the Assen GP, but meanwhile, here is the rest of the championship, in order:
