The Silverstone round of the MotoGP championship promised some surprises, but nothing was more surprising than seeing Marc Marquez's engine failure - that is the first time in a decade that a Honda engine has given way in a MotoGP race. With Rossi leading the way at that point, it seemed like The Doctor would go into the championship lead as well, but Dovizioso had other plans.
