Following his injury during motocross training, Valentino Rossi has been cleared by the doctors at the Ospedale Infermi in Rimini and has returned to his ranch in Tavullia.
An official statement from Yamaha said "With the attending doctors confirming the findings shared in this morning's medical bulletin, the nine-time world champion left the hospital at 5.30pm, accompanied by his staff. He will continue the recovery process in his own surroundings."
Rossi is said to be in pain because of slight liver and kidney lesions. However, he is expected to be fit in time for his home race, the Mugello GP. This is good news, as that kicks off a hectic stretch of the season, with four races in five weekends.
