MV Agusta has unveiled the Turismo Veloce 800 and the Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 Sport Touring motorcycle at the 2014 EICMA event that started today at Milan Italy. The latter is nothing but a higher spec model that also gets pannier and a different colour.
The Turismo Veloce 800 and the Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 have been built around the company’s 800cc three-cylinder engine that develops 125bhp at 11,600 rpm and 84Nm at 8,600rpm. Both the motorcycles design cues and aesthetics look very familiar to the F3 and F4 models and they also get ABS.
The Turismo Veloce gets MVCSC system (MV Agusta Chassis Stability Control) electronic stability control through the use of semi-active suspension, less bulky saddle bags that have a capacity of 60 litres and the new generation MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) inertial platform which includes the up and down EAS 2.0 electronic gear change system as well as the Anti-Wheelie System.
MV Agusta were the first ones to showcased their new line-up at the 2014 EICMA event. Unfortunately, there is no word from the company about their launch plans in India but we always like to be optimistic. Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get more updates from the 2014 EICMA event.
