TVS Racing and Kannan Subramaniam dominated Round 4 of the Indian National Motorcycle championship securing two wins in the Super Sport category.
According to reports, Subramaniam missed qualifying but that didn’t stop him from controlling both the national races in the 165cc category. Kannan also headed a TVS Racing 1-2-3 with teammates Jagan Kumar and Harry Sylvester completing the podium. While championship leader Kumar took second in Race 1, it was Sylvester's chance in Race 2 to end behind Subramaniam, as the trio ran in tandem in the races.
TVS' Ahmed Yanseen secured fourth in the first race keeping Praveen Kumar at bay, while Honda's Ten10 Racing team rider Mathana Kumar retired. However in the second race, Mathana was comfortably able to beat Yanseen to finish fourth.
In the Pro Stock category, Honda Ten10 Racing rider Rajiv Sethu won both the Pro Stock 165cc category races on Sunday. While Sethu led ahead, in Race 1 RACR's (Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing) Prabhu A was able to secure second before Honda's Hari Krishnan beat him in Race 2.
Vivek Pillai recorded podium finish with third in the first race, just missing it on in the second race ending fourth by close to half a second. Honda rider Mithun Kumar had a modest weekend secure fourth and fifth place finishes respectively.
