In terms of electronics, the new Street Triple S sports two riding modes- Road and Rain that adjust the traction control and throttle response. The motorcycle continues with a semi-analogue instrument cluster as standard.
The new Street Triple S comes powered by a Euro5/BS6 compliant, 765cc, inline-three cylinder engine. While Triumph has not revealed details, the motor is expected to churn out 111bhp and 73Nm; similar to the outgoing model.
Suspension hardware is sourced from Showa. The bike uses 41mm inverted forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile twin 310mm discs at the front and a 210mm disc at the rear take care of braking.
Now in terms of competition, the Street Triple S will go head on against the Ducati Monster 797, KTM 790 Duke and Yamaha MT-09 in India.
