- 2021 Ducati Monster spotted in Germany
- Gets slight cosmetic changes
- Likely to be unveiled by the end of this year
Ducati has been spotted testing the new, 2021 Monster in Germany.
The test mule reveals that the upcoming motorcycle will get slight cosmetic updates. To begin with, the new Monster will come with stubby, twin exhausts fitted on the right side. It is also likely to use a cast aluminum frame, unlike the trellis frame that the current Monster family uses. And while the definitive elements of the motorcycle, like the low-slung oval headlamp and stubby tail section, remain the same, the test mule seems to look less brawny.
Nevertheless, the motorcycle also sports a water-cooled engine. While this is no upgrade for the Monster 821 and Monster 1200, it would surely be for the Monster 797 which currently uses an air-cooled motor.
Ducati is expected to unveil the new Monster along with the recently-spotted Multistrada V4 by the end of this year. With most of the motorcycle shows cancelled, it is likely to be showcased online. We can then expect the new Monster to be introduced in India sometime in 2021.
