Aprilia India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new 2022 SR 125 and the SR 160 in our market with prices starting from Rs 1,07,595 onwards. The updated range packs newer features such as an LED headlight and a fully-digital instrument cluster as against halogen illuminator and a semi-digital console on its predecessor. The updated model also gets a redesigned taillight. The sharper design of the new model should appeal to younger buyers.
The new SR 125 will be available in a single variant. The SR 160, on the other hand, will be sold in three options – Standard, Carbon, and Race. Check out the prices below:

The mechanical specifications on the SR 125 include a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve engine that produces 9.78bhp at 7,700rpm and 9.70Nm at 6,000rpm. The SR 160 uses a 160.03cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve motor that makes 10.86bhp at 7,600rpm and 11.6Nm at 6,000rpm.
The suspension hardware on all variants includes telescopic front forks and a single spring at the back. The braking tasks are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back. The SR 125 uses a combined braking system while the SR 160 gets a single-channel antilock braking system. All variants use 14-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
