- Priced at Rs 1.07 lakh
- Updated model gets LED headlight and digital instrument cluster
- Colour choices include red, white, blue, and grey
Aprilia has announced the launch of the new SR 125 in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The latest iteration of the 125cc scooter is available in four colours – red, white, blue, and grey.
The SR 125 decals are visible on the front apron and the side panels while the Aprilia branding is placed at the front and near the footboard. To enhance its sporty visuals, the scooter uses carbon-fiibre texture for the front fender and the exhaust heatshield. Unlike the 160cc range, the Aprilia SR 125 is not available in Carbon and Race editions.
The styling revisions to the new Aprilia SR 125 include a shaper-looking headlight, a redesigned taillight, split-style design to the single-piece saddle, and a bigger pillion grab rail. The updated feature list includes an LED headlight and a fully-digital instrument cluster that is similar to the unit on the SXR 125.
The mechanical specifications remain unaltered, and the new SR 125 continues to use the BS6-compliant, 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve motor that is tuned to deliver 9.78bhp of power at 7,700rpm and 9.70Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.
