New Bajaj CT 110 spotted prior to launch; to be priced at Rs 37,997

- New CT 110 kick-start model to be priced at Rs 37,997 and self-start at Rs 44,352 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

- Gets news features like tank grips, new graphics, longer seat, fork gaiters and larger rear-view mirrors

- Powered by Platina 110’s 115cc air-cooled motor

Bajaj Auto is set to expand its commuter portfolio with the launch of the new CT 110 soon. The motorcycle has been spotted completely undisguised revealing details of the motorcycle and its new features. While the motorcycle is yet to be officially launched, the bike maker has started dispatching consignments from the plant to dealerships across the country. Positioned between the CT 100 and the Patina 100 models, the new CT 110 will be launched at a starting price of Rs 37,997 for the kick-start model and Rs 44,352 for the self-start version (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Judging by the spy images, Bajaj has given the CT 110 subtle but distinctive updates in order to differentiate it from the standard CT 100 model. The motorcycle continues to sport the same bikini fairing with a tinted visor. The fuel tank also remains the same but receives tank grips and new graphics giving it a premium touch. Apart from that, the CT 110 also gets a slightly larger seat with added cushioning for more comfort. Other bits include larger rear-view mirrors with rubber covers for the stalks and fork gaiters. Bajaj has also given the CT 110 a blacked out treatment for the engine, handlebar and grab rail.

However, the biggest change is in its powerplant. The CT 110 borrows its motor from the Platina 110 model which features a115cc air-cooled mill with DTS-i technology that registers 8.6bhp and 9.81Nm. While Bajaj is yet to reveal the specs of the motorcycle, expect them to be nearly the same. Transmission duties will continue to be taken care of by a 4-speed gearbox.

For cycle parts, the motorcycle is equipped with telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is done by drum brakes at both ends and is equipped with Anti-Skid Brakes, Bajaj’s version of the combi-braking system.

Once officially launched, the new CT 110 will rival against the TVS Sport and Hero HF Deluxe in the 110cc commuter segment.
