Bajaj recently launched the new CT100 KS in India, equipping it with new features that add value to the package. So here we list out the top five highlights of the updated commuter motorcycle from Bajaj.
Revised bodywork
Bajaj has fitted the new CT100 KS with a host of new bodywork that not only sets it apart from the previous model visually but also adds functionality to the package. It gets a cross tube on its handlebar to improve stability and reduce vibrations. Then there are the rubber tank pads for additional grip as well as revised seat cushioning and a larger pillion grab rail that adds to overall comfort.
New features
Apart from the aforementioned changes, the most important update to the new CT100 KS is the inclusion of a fuel gauge to its analogue speedometer. While the gauge is still analogue, it is still a huge improvement over the previous model which missed out on the same. Furthermore, the CT100 KS also gets clear-lens indicators which Bajaj claims to be sturdier than before.
Colours
Bajaj is offering the CT100 KS in three colour options. There is Gloss Ebony Black with Blue graphics, a Matte Olive Green colour scheme that comes with Yellow graphics. You can also choose the commuter motorcycle in a Gloss Flame Red paint that features Bright Red decals.
Engine
There is no change to the powertrain and the Bajaj CT100 KS continues to use a BS6-compliant, 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine the produces 7.79bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.34Nm at 5,500rpm. It comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.
Pricing
Bajaj has priced the new CT100 KS at Rs 46,432 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It costs a premium of Rs 1,542 over the earlier model.
