Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of the CT125X in the Indian market. This new member of the company’s CT family gets a bigger engine and it is currently Bajaj Auto’s most-affordable 125cc motorcycle in India.
The Pune-based two-wheeler maker has launched the CT125X in three dual-tone colour options – Ebony Black with Green decals, Ebony Black with Blue decals, and Ebony Black with Red decals. These colours feature identical graphics that are visible on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, and side panels.
The new CT125X draws styling cues from the lower-displacement version, the CT100X. Thus, this new motorcycle from Bajaj Auto gets a round headlight with a guard, front cowl-mounted LED DRL, rubber tank pads, engine bash plate, fork gaiters, single-piece seat, rear luggage rack, and a side-slung exhaust with a brushed-aluminium heat shield.
In terms of specifications, the CT125X uses a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 10.7bhp at 8,000rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The drum brake version is priced at Rs 71,354 while the disc brake variant is available at Rs 74,682 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
