Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of its most-affordable 125cc motorcycle in the Indian market, CT125X. This commuter segment motorcycle is available in two variants and three colour options. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Bajaj CT125X.
Bajaj CT125X Design
The new CT125X draws styling cues from the CT100X. Thus, the 125cc version of the CT range gets a round headlight with a guard, front cowl-mounted LED DRL, rubber tank pads, engine bash plate, fork gaiters, single-piece seat, rear luggage rack, and a side-slung exhaust with a brushed-aluminium heat shield. At the back, the CT125X gets a triangle-shaped taillight. This design is further complemented by dual-tone graphics that are visible on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, and side panels.
Bajaj CT125X Features
The feature list is basic, and the Bajaj CT125X uses halogen headlight and taillight, bulb-type turn indicators, LED DRL, and an analogue speedometer. It also comes with a USB charger as standard. Then, the safety net on the motorcycle comprises a combined braking system.
Bajaj CT125X Colours
The motorcycle is available in three dual-tone colour options – Ebony Black with Green decals, Ebony Black with Blue decals, and Ebony Black with Red decals. And as mentioned above, these colours feature identical graphics.
Bajaj CT125X Engine
The motorcycle is powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to deliver 10.7bhp at 8,000rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
Bajaj CT125X Hardware and Prices
The CT125X is built around a semi-double-cradle frame and it uses telescopic front forks and twin rear springs to handle the suspension tasks. The 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 80/100-section front and 100/90-section rear tyres. The braking setup on the base model includes 130mm drum brakes on both wheels whereas the higher variant uses a 240mm disc brake at the front. Now, while the former is priced at Rs 71,354, the latter is available at Rs 74,682 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
