Do note that Bajaj Auto is yet to announce the launch of the new Dominar 250 but we can expect it soon.
To give you a quick recap, the new Bajaj Dominar 250 will make the Dominar brand more accessible. At Rs 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom), it is about Rs 30,000 cheaper than the Dominar 400. The styling cues and feature list are near similar on both motorcycles. Thus, the Dominar 250 comes equipped with muscular design, full-LED lighting and a split-style digital instrument cluster. Buyers can select from two colour options – Glossy Red and Matte Black.
The hardware, too, is similar to the flagship Bajaj motorcycle, and the Dominar 250 gets upside-down telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS.
The new quarter-litre product to join Bajaj Auto’s portfolio uses a KTM 250 Duke derived 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Bajaj has added its twin-spark technology to the Dominar 250. The BS6-compliant motor produces 27bhp of power and 23.5Nm of torque.
