Bajaj has launched the new Platina 100 KS in India at Rs 51,667 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Platina 100 is also available in ES Drum and ES Disc variants which have received a price hike.
Nevertheless, the most affordable Platina 100 KS comes with black handguards as standard. It also gets slightly revised graphics and two colour options- Ebony Black with Silver decals and Cocktail Wine Red. Powering the bike is a 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.9bhp and 8.34Nm and comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. The Platina 100 is equipped with a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm drum at the rear accompanied by a CBS.
While the Platina 100 is not yet updated on Bajaj’s website yet, the motorcycle can be booked at dealerships with deliveries expected to take place by the end of the month across India. In terms of competition, the Bajaj Platina 100 goes up against the Hero Splender and Hero Deluxe.
