Bajaj Auto launched the Platina 110 ABS in India recently. It will be sold alongside the standard H-Gear variant that it is based on. So here we tell you all there is to know about the Platina 110 ABS.
Segment first feature
The new Bajaj Platina 110 is equipped with a single-channel ABS, making it the only motorcycle in its segment with the feature. It is accompanied by the same hardware as the standard version and comes with a 240mm disc upfront and a 110mm drum at the rear.
Engine
Powering the Platina 110 ABS is the same 115cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.4bhp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm. And since it is based on the Platina H-Gear, the motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.
Features
Apart from the ABS and the inclusion of an ABS light in the instrument cluster, the Bajaj Platina 110 gets the same features as the other model. So there is an LED DRL at the front, quilted seats, knuckle guards, a Nitrox spring-on-spring shock absorbers at the rear and alloy wheels with tubeless tyres as well.
Colours
Bajaj is offering the Platina 110 in a choice of three colours- Charcoal Black, Volcanic Red, and Beach Blue.
Pricing
The Platina 110 ABS is priced at Rs 65,926, which makes it Rs 1,241 more expensive than the Platina 110 H-Gear that costs Rs 64,685. (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)
