- BS6 Pulsar 125 0.2bhp lesser than BS4 model
- To be priced from Rs 71,033
- Gets no cosmetic changes
Bajaj is scheduled to launch the BS6 Pulsar 125 in India soon. We have already revealed the price of the upcoming motorcycle which is to start from Rs 71,033 for the drum brake version. The disc brake variant will cost Rs 75,361 (both prices ex-showroom, Bangalore).
Now, leaked documents reveal the specifications of the BS6-compliant Pulsar 125. It gets a 124cc, single-cylinder mill that benefits from a fuel-injection system. This engine produces 11.6bhp; a drop of 0.2bhp from the BS4 model’s 11.8bhp output. And while the torque figure is still unknown, we can expect it to retain the 11Nm output.
Apart from a cleaner and smoother engine, the Pulsar 125 is likely to remain the same cosmetically. It will continue to feature alloy wheels, semi-digital instrument cluster, pilot lamps at the front and LED tail lamp at the rear. Even suspension and braking hardware will be the same as the outgoing model.
