Just few days ago, we reported about Bajaj’s plan to launch six motorcycles in the next six months. And now, a production ready model of the upcoming Pulsar 150 has been spied testing around Pune sans camouflage.
Cosmetically, the Pulsar 150 looks exactly like the Pulsar 200NS, but there are certain changes that differentiates it from the bigger sibling. The spied Pulsar 150 gets a drum brake at the rear, instead of the disc. It gets a kick-starter, which is absent from the 200NS. The rest of thr components have been picked up from the 200NS, in a bid to keep costs in check.
The upcoming Pulsar 150 is expected to get an updated engine that will churn out class-leading power figures. The Pune-based manufacturer has showcased this bike overseas and is marketing it with triple-spark technology, which makes us believe that the new Pulsar 150 will get one too.
We are expecting Bajaj Pulsar 150 to be one of the first launches of these six bikes because it brings volumes for the company. Both the bikes, the Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 180 are pending major upgrades and looks like 2015 is the year of Pulsars.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the upcoming Bajaj motorcycles.
