-New Pulsar 220F gets big upgrades
-Equipped with Bluetooth instrument cluster
-Gets minor cosmetic changes
Bajaj is in the process of updating almost all of its Pulsar range with big upgrades. One of the highest-selling bikes – the Pulsar 220F is also receiving big changes and will be launched at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
A few weeks ago, the 2024 Pulsar 220F was spotted at a certain dealership. Through those pictures, it was clear that this Pulsar will receive a Bluetooth-enabled full digital instrument cluster. This display also supports turn-by-turn navigation. For the first time in over a decade, the Pulsar 220F has received such large changes and upgrades. The motorcycle also gets a new switchgear to access the various menus on the display. Furthermore, the new Pulsar 220F also gets a USB charging port and new graphics and decals.
In the performance department, the Pune-based manufacturer hasn’t given the bike any upgrades. The bike continues to be powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 20bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 18Nm at 7000rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Bajaj has been selling the Pulsar 220F for over a decade now. This bike was supposed to be discontinued when the Pulsar NS200 was launched, but interestingly, the sales of the Pulsar 220F picked up, soon after the NS200 hit the market. This made Bajaj believe that the Pulsar 220F has still a large fan base and it could continue to sell for years ahead.
