Bajaj Auto has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new Pulsar 250 range. The quarter-litre range comprises two models, the Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250. The Pulsar N250, which has been priced at Rs 1.38 lakh, is a roadster-style motorcycle. The Pulsar F250, on the other hand, features a semi-fairing design and has been priced at Rs 1.40 lakh.
Both motorcycles use the same underpinnings, cycle parts, and mechanical specifications. The quarter-litre models from Bajaj Auto use a 249.07cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 24.1bhp of power at 8,750rpm and 21.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The hardware comprises telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking duties are performed by single discs on both wheels. The motorcycles are built around a tubular chassis.
The feature list, too, is similar on both motorcycles. Thus, the new Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250 pack full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, split-style seat, a side-sling dual-barrel exhaust, and a single-channel ABS.
The new Pulsar N250 will rival the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha FZ25. The Pulsar F250, on the other hand, will compete against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF.
