- New Pulsar 250 launch on October 28
- Will be powered by a new 250cc air-cooled engine
- Likely to get sporty design
Bajaj’s most awaited motorcycle of the year – the next generation Pulsar 250 will be launched in India on October 28. This new platform is likely to have two motorcycles to start with – a naked and a semi-faired.
The Pulsar 250 will replace the current generation 200cc liquid-cooled NS200, but it will be interesting to see if the company plans to discontinue the Pulsar 220 as well as this model continues to sell well for the company – in India and also in international markets.
In terms of styling, the Pulsar 250 twins seem to retain the muscular visual appeal that the Pulsars are known for. However, the overall body work has sharper lines all over. We can also observe a full-LED lighting setup along with a digital console that might offer Bluetooth connectivity.
Although the exact specifications of this 250cc engine aren’t known yet, we do expect it to churn out 24bhp of peak power and around 20Nm of torque. The spy shots have also revealed that this will be an air/oil-cooled and this has been done to keep the costs in check.
We are hoping to ride the new Pulsar 250 very soon and honestly are quite excited to experience this new generation Pulsar platform.
