- New Pulsar 400 launched pushed to FY25
- Likely to be launched between April and June
- It will be Bajaj’s most expensive Pulsar
Bajaj Auto had plans to launch its biggest Pulsar ever this month. However, as per the latest reports, the launch has now been delayed to FY 2025.
A few weeks ago, the top honcho of the company talked about launching the new Pulsar 400 by March 2024. But it looks like the product isn’t ready for the official launch and that’s why it has been pushed by a few months. Now, the launch could happen between April and June of this year.
Currently, there aren’t many details on this motorcycle, but rumours suggest that this 400cc Pulsar is likely to borrow styling from the latest generation of Pulsars. In terms of branding, this motorcycle could be called the Pulsar NS400. This street bike is likely to borrow the new 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the KTM 390 Duke, but the overall power figures could be much lower.
Regarding pricing, the new Pulsar NS400 will become the most expensive Pulsar ever and could carry a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be interesting to see if the Pune-based manufacturer positions this new Pulsar above the Dominar 400.
