- Boasts design similar to the Pulsar N160
- Remains mechanically identical to the Pulsar P150
Bajaj Auto recently revamped its portfolio by launching the new Pulsar N150 in India. While it is mechanically the same as the Pulsar P150, Bajaj has bestowed it with a bodywork that’s nearly identical to the Pulsar N160. Also, the N150 comes in two colour options including Ebony Black and Metallic Pearl White. While the former looks stealthy with a blacked-out theme all across with subtle red and grey accents, the latter is visually bolder with a white headlamp cowl, fuel tank, and tail. Both colours are priced the same at Rs. 1,17,134 (ex-showroom).
Powering the Pulsar N150 is a 149.68cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.3bhp and 13.5Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 260mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The braking setup is assisted by single-channel ABS as standard.
Talking about the design of the bike, the front section of the bike looks the same as the Pulsar N160 and N250. The projector LED headlamp sits in an aggressive-looking cowl while the sculpted fuel tank is accompanied by sharp extensions. It also boasts a sharp underbelly cowl that adds to its mean look. The sleek tail section accommodates a single-piece seat which, along with a tubular handlebar, promises to deliver a sporty yet comfortable riding stance.
