Bajaj launched the N250- its most powerful Pulsar ever- in India recently. The motorcycle was introduced alongside its semi-faired version, the F250. While you can check out the images of that version in our other article, here we bring to you detailed pictures of the Pulsar N250 for our first ride review.
Now, in terms of styling, the Pulsar N250 borrows subtle cues from the NS200, although with a much needed twist of its own. It gets a distinctive front fascia that comprises a projector headlamp flanked by LED DRLs.
There also is an edgy fuel tank with extensions that have been highlighted by sleek-looking graphics and a raised tail section with a split seat setup.
Underneath this bodywork, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 comes with a 249cc, oil-cooled engine churns out 24.1bhp of power and 21.5Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Adding to that it also gets modern features like an assist and slipper clutch for easy and safe gearshifts, a semi-digital instrument cluster that displays additional info like distance to empty and gear position and the motorcycle gets a USB charging port too. Moreover, the fuel tank capacity is quite impressive at 14-litres.
As for hardware, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 100/80 and 130/70 section tyres for the front and rear, respectively. Meanwhile, suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic forks and a monoshock while the braking setup comprises a single disc at both ends.
Bajaj has priced the Pulsar N250 at Rs 1.38 lakh, making it Rs 2,000 cheaper than the F250 that retails at Rs 1.40 lakh. And as for competition, the motorcycle goes up against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ25.
