- To be priced at Rs 1.40 lakhs
- Bookings open; to be launched soon
Bajaj will launch the new BS6 Pulsar NS160 in India soon with a price tag of Rs 1.40 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now, leaked documents have revealed the specifications of the upcoming motorcycle.
The BS6 Pulsar NS160 comes powered by a 160cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that now gets a fuel-injection system. Interestingly, Bajaj has managed to tweak the engine to produce 16.1bhp; 0.8bhp more power than the BS4 model. Furthermore, the peak power is now produced at 9,000rpm as compared to the 8500rpm of the previous model. As for torque, it is expected to remain the same at 14.6Nm.
Besides this change, the Pulsar NS160 will remain unchanged cosmetically. It will continue to sport a sharp styling similar to its bigger sibling, the NS200. Features, suspension as well as braking hardware will also be retained from the BS4 version. Bookings for the motorcycle have already commenced across India and deliveries are expected to take place a few days after its official launch.
