- Expected to be launched in the coming months
- Likely to get a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity
- Could feature LED lighting and new colours
Bajaj Auto seems to be on an overdrive to update its Pulsar range. After launching the Pulsar NS200 and more recently the Pulsar N250, Bajaj is working on an update for the Pulsar RS200. Although the manufacturer is yet to announce its launch timeline, we believe the new RS 200 will be launched in India in the coming months.
The RS200 is the only motorcycle in the Pulsar range that is yet to receive an update. That said, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is expected to receive many feature updates and new colour schemes. The motorcycle might get a new fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Then, it is also likely to feature LED headlamps and new paint schemes. That said, we aren’t sure if Bajaj will offer traction control and ABS modes on the RS200, which are available on the Pulsar N250.
The Achilles heel for the Pulsar RS200 is the design, and we hope Bajaj updates its design for 2024. The motorcycle is also expected to come equipped with upside-down forks for added stability and improved handling. Meanwhile, it will continue to be offered with a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled motor that makes 24.1bhp at 9,750rpm and a peak torque of 18.7Nm at 8,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Similar to the N250 and the NS200, the new Pulsar RS200 could get a marginal price hike. It will rival the Hero Karizma XMR and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
