- Benelli 350S borrows components from 302S
- Gets refreshed styling
- India launch not yet confirmed
Benelli is working on a new streetfighter based on the 302S model that is available internationally- a new spy image confirms.
The motorcycle was spotted with a large ‘350’ branding on the mid-section further putting rest to the rumours which suggested the 302S would be updated with a 354cc motor for 2021. While engine specs are currently unknown, it is clear that the new Benelli 350 gets a cosmetic upgrade over the 302S. The quirky design of the 302S’ headlamp is replaced by a sophisticated oval, full-LED unit. The fuel tank is sculpted and the tank shrouds have gotten angular. Moreover, the single-piece seat has given way for a sportier split-seat setup.
Nevertheless, the rest of the Benelli 350’s components are borrowed from the 302S. So it appears to get the same frame, swingarm, forks, and front fender. The motorcycle is expected to be launched as a QJ Motor product before being rebadged and sold as a Benelli in global markets. And while there is no confirmation about its India launch yet, we can expect Benelli to introduce the motorcycle here sometime later in 2021.
