- Pre-bookings open for Rs 10,000
- To rival the Kawasaki Vulcan S in India
Benelli India has confirmed via its social media channels that it will soon launch the 502C cruiser in our market. The new middleweight cruiser will arrive in India on 29 July, 2021. The pre-bookings for the 502C had commenced on 8 July, 2021 for a token amount of Rs 10,000.
The new cruiser from the Chinese-owned Italian brand will rival the Kawasaki Vulcan S in the Indian market. The Benelli 502c cruiser packs styling cues such as a low-slung headlight, a 21.5-litre fuel tank, step-up saddle, twin-pod exhaust canister, and a rear-fender-mounted numberplate. The feature list includes full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and a dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle is powered by a 500cc parallel-twin motor that also powers the Leoncino 500 and the TRK 502. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine makes 46.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The hardware on the 502C comprise upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, twin discs on front wheel, a single rotor at the back, and 17-inch wheels on both ends.
