- 2022 Benelli Leoncino 250 debuts
- Gets new LED headlamp and graphics
- Likely to be launched early next year
The 2022 Benelli Leoncino 250 has been globally unveiled. And the brand’s small-displacement motorcycle receives a minor update for the new model year.
To begin with, it gets a new LED headlamp that has been derived from the Leoncino 500. It not only is a welcome step up from the previous unit in terms of features but also aesthetics. Along with that, the 2022 Benelli Leoncino 500 also gets new graphics and a new white colour option. The Anthracite colour also features body-coloured graphics on the wheels. However, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same.
It comes powered by a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that sits inside the steel trellis frame. The motor is now Euro 5 compliant and churns out 25.8bhp at 9250rpm. Even the chunky upside down forks and braking setup with 280mm front and 240mm rear discs with ABS remain the same. Now we can expect Benelli to launch the Leoncino 250 in India sometime next year along with a couple of other models that were pushed back due to the COVID-19 related pandemic.
