- 2020 Benelli TNT 600i launched in China
- Gets cosmetic upgrades
- Likely to make Indian debut later this year
Benelli has launched the 2020 TNT 600i in China, six months after its showcased the motorcycle at the 2019 EICMA in Italy.
The new TNT 600i gets a facelift as well as new features as part of the 2020 update. While it retains the muscular fuel tank and split seat setup with twin underseat exhausts, the TNT 600i now gets a sharply-styled, full-LED headlamp along with slightly revised turn signals. Benelli is also offering the motorcycle in a choice of two new dual-tone paint schemes- neon yellow with black and white with black that gets red graphics.
Furthermore, the 2020 Benelli TNT 600i is equipped with a full-colour TFT instrument display that replaces the dated analogue-digital unit on the previous model. Apart from this, the motorcycle remains the same. It comes powered by a 600cc, inline-four unit that produces 79.3bhp at 11,500rpm and 54.6Nm at 10,500rpm. However, the new TNT 600i is around 3kg heavier than the model sold in India and tips the scales at a hefty 234kg.
The TNT 600i is one of Benelli’s highest sold products in India and we expect the manufacturer to launch the 2020 model sometime this year. On the other hand, recent patents reveal that Benelli is already working on a completely revised version of the TNT 600i which is likely to be unveiled at the EICMA this year.
