- New Benelli TNT600i appears in a leaked document
- Sports a majorly updated design
- Incorporates revised cycle parts
Over the last few months, we have seen different versions of the next-generation Benelli TNT600i being leaked in documents. One of these was officially unveiled in China in June 2020 by QJMotor, the parent company of Benelli, and that was profoundly different from the previous-gen bike. Now, a picture has surfaced on the internet showing a new version of the upcoming TNT600i.
The leaked iteration of the TNT600i boasts a new styling. Although it doesn’t look as aggressive as the one available in China, it is considerably different from the bike that was available in India. Dominating its front end is a more compact and vertically-aligned headlamp section, sharper fuel tank extensions and a different tail with the same under seat exhaust. The only body panel retained from the discontinued trim is the fuel tank.
The motorcycle in the picture also looks to be equipped with different hardware. For instance, the design of the swingarm is unlike the previous bike. Meanwhile, the forks are sourced from Marzocchi while brakes are Brembo-branded. Notably, these components are the same that are seen on the QJMotor SRK600 in China. The engine, meanwhile, appears to be the same 600cc, inline four cylinder motor, the previous derivative of which was capable of making around 80bhp of power. But the performance number might vary now owing to the Euro5/BS6-bound changes.
Until now, Benelli has launched BS6-compliant versions of three models including the Imperiale 400, Leoncino 500 and TRK 502. The company has many more products in the pipeline which perhaps includes the aforementioned TNT600i as well. Expect the official launch to take place in the coming months.
