- Likely to be a rebranded TVS Apache RR310
- To be unveiled on 15 July, 2022
- Likely to carry a price premium over Apache RR310
BMW Motorrad India has released a new teaser video of its upcoming 310-series motorcycle that will be based on the TVS Apache RR310. The teaser footage reveals new details about this upcoming motorcycle. These include the alloy wheel design, updated graphics, and the revised engine casing.
The alloy wheels, for starters, use the same split-style design as the TVS Apache RR310. The fairing gets BMW branding while the TVS logo on the engine casing has been removed. We expect the Bavarian brand to add its own branding on the engine case. Previous teaser video had revealed the tail end of the motorcycle that looked identical to the Apache RR310. Thus, it is safe to assume that this upcoming BMW 310-series model will be a rebranded TVS Apache RR310.
The mechanical specifications, too, are likely to remain similar to the Apache RR310. Thus, this new BMW will use a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to produce 34bhp and 27.3Nm of peak torque on the Apache RR310.
The new model will be revealed on 15 July, 2022. We have already done an article explaining what you can expect from this upcoming BMW motorcycle and you can read all about it here.
