- 2022 BMW G310 GS launched
- Offered in new colours
- Gets the same tech and features as before
BMW Motorrad India launched the 2022 G310 GS in India just a couple of weeks after it was showcased for global markets. The adventure motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.10 making it Rs 5,000 more expensive than the outgoing version.
For the extra money, you get a couple of new colour options to choose from. There is Cosmic Black 3, Style Rallye Kalamata Metallic Matt and Racing Blue Metallic on offer. And with the introduction of these new colours, all the previous options have been taken off the shelves.
Well, that said, the BMW G310 GS remains the same in every other aspect. It comes powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill that makes 33.5bhp and 28Nm just like the G310 R and G310 RR. You are offered an LCD instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, adjustable levers, dual-channel ABS and an assist and slipper clutch as standard.
As for its hardware, the G310 GS rides on a 19/17-inch alloy wheel combo with USD forks and golden fork bottles at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is done by single discs at either end. Now, the BMW G310 GS rivals four motorcycles in India- the KTM 250 Adventure, KTM 390 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX and the Royal Enfield Himalayan as well.
