The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets a new white and red colour scheme combo for the Columbian market. The RS200 is available in India in three solid colours namely yellow, red and black with contrast graphic stickers. It is still unsure if the Indian market will receive this dual tone paint job.
Mechanically identical, the Pulsar RS200 is powered by the same 200cc engine that powers the naked Pulsar NS200. However, this engine is fuel-injected and churns out 24.5bhp at 9,750rpm and maximum torque of 18.6Nm at 8,000rpm. Bajaj offers the RS200 only with ABS in Columbia, it is an optional extra in India.
Let aside the paint job, the motorcycle is cosmetically identical to the one sold in India. However, not many people like the design of this motorcycle and the over-the-top design seems to turn many away. It seems like Bajaj is trying to reduce the impact of the design with this dual tone white and red colour combo.
We seem to prefer this understated colour scheme over the single colour options offered in India. What seems to be the problem with the single colour RS200s in India are the graphics, they only accentuate the over-the-top body styling. Bajaj should introduce this colour scheme in India as it could slightly recreate the image people have for this motorcycle.
