Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled a new paint scheme for its popular commuter motorcycle, the Dream Neo. The 110cc motorcycle will now be available in a white paint scheme with red stripes, though the design of the decals has remained the same. The new paint scheme hasn’t altered the price of the motorcycle and it continues to retail at Rs 42,237 (ex-showroom Delhi), for the base variant.
The Honda Dream Neo is a part of the Dream series of commuter motorcycles and is powered by a single-cylinder 110cc engine. The air-cooled unit churns out 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm of torque, through a four-speed gearbox. With the addition of this new colour, the Honda Dream Neo is now available in five paint schemes.
Speaking about the Dream Neo and the paint scheme, Mr. Y.S. Guleria, vice president, sales and marketing, HMSI, said, "Dream Neo is a part of Honda’s Dream series of motorcycles with a proven, reliable, easy to maintain and highly fuel efficient Honda Engine with proven Honda Eco Technology (HET). To celebrate the upcoming festival season, we are introducing a new additional colour providing more choice to the customers in their dream bike.”
The Dream series is having a dream run (pun intended) in India as the Japanese manufacturer rolled out the one millionth unit of the motorcycle, last month. The new paint scheme is an attempt by Honda to further boost the sales of the motorcycle in the forthcoming festive season. The Dream Neo rivals other commuter motorcycles like the Mahindra Centuro Rockstar, Bajaj Discover 100, TVS StaR City Plus and the Hero Splendor.
