Ducati India has announced that it will commence the deliveries of the newly launched DesertX in our market in the second week of January 2023. This new adventure-tourer motorcycle is available in a single variant and it has been priced at Rs 17.91 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It rivals the likes of the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally, Honda Africa Twin, and BMW F850 GS in the Indian market.
This new model shares its 937cc, L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine with the new Monster and Multistrada V2. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to produce a maximum output of 110bhp at 9,250rpm and peak torque of 92Nm at 6,500rpm.
Meanwhile, the feature list comprises full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled five-inch TFT display as standard. Further, the electronic rider aids comprise six riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Rally, and Enduro), four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), cruise control, Bosch IMU, engine brake control, traction control, wheelie control, bidirectional quickshifter, and cornering ABS. Ducati will also offer several optional accessories for the new DesertX.
In more updates, Ducati India has announced the prices of nine motorcycles that will be launched in our market over the course of this year. The list includes Panigale V4 R, Monster SP, Diavel V4, Streetfighter V4 SP2, Multistrada V4 Rally, Scrambler Icon 2G, Scrambler Full Throttle 2G, Scrambler Nightshift 2G, and the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini.
