Ducati has released another teaser video on its official website and YouTube Channel. Just like the last few videos, the Italian manufacturer has tried its level best not to reveal information but we have managed to extract some.
We believe that the bike teased in this video is the new Diavel Cruiser. Looks like Ducati wanted the web world to decode this video and that’s why a certain part of the video was left with obvious revelations. The most obvious comes at 0.21 sec, where one can see the tank and the handlebar of the bike. The long fuel tank and the low handlebar are the major design traits of the Diavel. However, the fuel tank design is slightly different from the Diavel that’s currently on sale. This upcoming Diavel cruiser is belt driven and has a slight laid back riding position. It is expected to be powered by a new 1198cc engine that churns out 160bhp and 136Nm.
With the new Diavel Cruiser, Ducati wants to focus more on the American market where cruisers get a large chunk of sales. Going forward, we might see two variants of the Diavel – Diavel Cruiser and the Diavel which is on sale currently.
