- 2021 Ducati Monster unveil next week
- Likely to get new styling and revised engine
- Could be launched in India sometime next year
Ducati is scheduled to launch a new Monster during the fifth and final episode of its World Premiere on 2 December.
The upcoming Monster was spotted testing a while ago and a design render was also leaked, giving us a glimpse of what to expect next week. To begin with, the new Ducati Monster is likely to use an alloy frame, unlike the streel trellis frame that features on the current Monster range.
Not only will this revision in frame result is lesser weight, but it will also make the motorcycle more agile and put it on par with its rivals- the KTM 890 Duke, Yamaha MT-09, and Triumph Street Triple. Moreover, the new Ducati Monster is also expected to feature design changes that would make it look more angular and aggressive. However, it will continue with the classic round and low-slung headlamp and broad fuel tank design.
As for its engine, rumours suggested that the new Monster could use the 937cc motor from the Hypermotard and Multistrada 950, although we will only know for sure next week. As for its India launch, we can expect the Italian manufacturer to introduce the new motorcycle in our country sometime next year.
