- New Scrambler showcased
- Gets lighter frame, wheels
- World unveil at 2022 EICMA
According to multiple reports, the new Scrambler was kept inside a secret room, and for obvious reasons, photography wasn’t allowed. But the people who saw this Ducati say that the bike looks visually slimmer and lighter.
Rumours suggest that the bike has shed a lot, close to 5kg, and that’s a significant number. Much work has been done on the frame, swingarm, and wheels. The revision in structure has also allowed for a wider seat which could make long-distance riding more comfortable for the rider and the pillion.
In terms of performance, the 803cc L-Twin engine may not get many upgrades as the engine is already a Euro 5. But the Italian brand could play with some riding modes and give the bike new features. Things like quick-shifter and slipper clutch could also be seen on the new Scrambler. Then, the famous circular TFT is being replaced by a rectangular-shaped TFT, which is a huge change.
The new Ducati Scrambler is expected to be unveiled at the 2022 EICMA Show. This is also the place where we could see Ducati coming out with a lot of colour options for the motorcycle.
