Ducati has unveiled the limited-edition XDiavel Nera for the international markets. The motorcycle, which is a result of a partnership between Ducati and Poltrona Frau, packs several styling upgrades over the standard model. The Indian launch details of the XDiavel Nera are not available yet. While we await more details, here we bring you the image gallery of the power cruiser.
The new Ducati XDiavel Nera features a black-on-black livery. The gloss and matte black colours alternate across the bodywork. This motorcycle will be limited to just 500 units worldwide.
A few styling details such as brake callipers and engine head covers feature the Ducati Red colour. The XDiavel Nera also gets fully machined forged rims, painted in gloss black.
One of the most unique features of the XDiavel Nera is its saddle made of Pelle Frau. The seat, which is made of soft natural leather, is available in five different colours - Siam Red, Steel Blue, Cemento, India, and Selva.
Additionally, the seat is customised with a series of 'X' engraving.
The buyers of the XDiavel Nera will also receive an exclusive key ring and document holder made of Pelle Frau leather. These elements would feature the matching colour to the one chosen for the saddle.
The changes are limited to the styling tweaks mentioned above. The design, on the other hand, remains similar to the standard motorcycle.
Thus, the motorcycle continues to feature an aggressive headlight at the front, a rear-swept handlebar, a long fuel tank, a split-style seat, and a single-sided swingarm.
The mechanical specifications, too, are identical to the standard XDiavel. Thus, the XDiavel Nera continues to use the 1,262, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 160bhp at 9,500rpm and 127.4Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm.
Other elements retained from the standard model include the tubular steel trellis frame, a 240mm wide rear tyre, and Brembo monobloc M50 calipers with twin 320mm discs at the front and a single 265mm rotor at the back.
The feature list retains full-LED lighting, keyless operation, colour-TFT display, Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), riding modes, cruise control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL).
